Gallo Nero’s (Black rooster chicken) project was  born as a result of the collaboration between the Agricultural Technical Institute of Florence and the Chianti Consortium.
It has , as its objective , the valorisation of the two Chianti historical breeds: Valdarno and  Livorno black.
